Camgew Honey Shop

This is cross-cutting in CAMGEW activities. Considering that women make up a greater portion of Cameroon population and that they suffer from difference marginalization, CAMGEW dedicate some activities to empower them like transformation of various honey and agroforestry products. They are organized in various groups and trained in different domains.

CAMGEW has a forest microfinance that train women on micro business skills, organize them and provide them with financial loans. These women benefit from mentorship and coaching. Women are trained in organic food production using animal dung, some women run restaurant businesses, some sell animal dung, others do marketing of various crops, some are in vegetable gardening.  Women are now encourage to get involved in activities that have been masculine incline like bee farming. Women are encourage to be part of forest management occupying leadership positions.
